When it comes to the Turtles, Michelangelo and Raphael are my absolute favorites. From the looks of it, those two are probably the most energetic of their brothers. Mikey no doubt holds the record for most athletic. Raph... get under his shell and he's all over you. (laugh)
Reading the beginning of this Chapter, I can feel the horrors of drowning. That's scary too. If Raphael hadn't been there, there is no doubt Mikey wouldn't have survived.
In the series, I have seen how Raphael gets when something awful happens to Mikey or any of his brothers. Though he gives his brothers a hard time, I know Raph loves his brothers very much. I can only imagine how it would feel. Like for example, though Raphael wishes a lot of the times Michelangelo who lose his voice or something, NOT having his little brother around would be even worse.
My favorite scene in this Chapter is while Raph was treating Mikey's wounds. To me, that had to be the closest they've been together. I like moments like that. Especially with these two. I don't see that a lot with them.
I feel for Mikey when he said that Raph hated him. I think he felt like most of the time his own brother doesn't want him around ever. I don't think it would be the first time he feels that way. That's one of those situations I think about myself. In a way, I believe Mikey just wants to be close to his brother Raph. I've seen that Mikey is mostly best friends when it comes to Leo and Don, but whenever it seems to be with Raph, it feels different.
